Maple Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Maple Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies are the ultimate guilty pleasure. These cookies are ooey and gooey and reminiscent of a big pancake breakfast with maple syrup and bacon slices on the side.   • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp.baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. butter at room temperature
  • 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1/3 c. chopped cooked bacon
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
3. Beat together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar with an electric mixer until smooth. Add one egg; beat until blended into the butter mixture. Add the remaining egg, vanilla extract, and maple syrup and then beat until well blended. Stir in the flour mixture a little at a time until combined. Stir in the bacon and chocolate chips. Scoop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared ungreased cookie sheets.
4. Bake in the preheated oven, 10 to 12 minutes.
5. Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack.
